Middle-speed WIRE-CUT EDM

 

  Middle-speed WEDM,that is, the WEDM machine have repeatedly cutting function,similar low-speed WEDM.Order to maintain the stability of molybdenum wire, processing to enhance the quality of workpiece surface machining, so therefore, will reduce the wire speed,thus named: "Middle-speed WEDM". Like conventional repeatedly cutting through the rough machining process, semi-finishing and finishing processes, such as multi-cutting Machining Allowance removal, processing effects of surface roughness than traditional high-speed WEDM significantly enhanced. Multi-cutting, the workpiece surface roughness generally can achieve Ra0.8 μ m.

Machine Features:

  • Low maintenance.Closed loop structure for low electrical noise(patent).

Control System Features:

  • PC Based industrial computer utilising EPROM technology for improved reliability and systems protection.
  • Two central processing units(CPU) to enable programming while cutting.
  • Graphical gap voltage display(patent)
  • Graphical programming system including such features as:mirror,move,rotate,divide,scale,zoom,line,circle,radii,standard/special
  • curve,gear,tangent of line and circle,trim,clear,off-set and smooth radius.,
  • Can accept DXF or G-Code from AutoCAD and other major CAD/CAM systems via floppy disk.
  • Optional scanning software or full scanning system available.
  • Programmable taper of up to 60 degrees.
  • Four-axis synthesis(different profile top to bottom).
  • 2D or 3D cutting
  • simulation and real time machining trace.
  • Edge finding and auto centring.
  • Invert cutting(Invert the cutting path).
  • Initiate start point(can return to initial start hole position while wire broken).
  • Auto Back-off and manual Back-off or go back to last point,then resume cutting.
  • Pause cutting.Restart cutting.
  • System can memorises the point on the cutting path when an error occurs or when there is a wire breakage.It then can resume cutting from that point when the error is rectified.
  • Battery back up.Complete data relention.
  • Auto programming for jumping mold.
  • Graphically check any segment of the programmed path with the ZOOM function.
  • Auto reset of UV axis when the job is completed.
  • International G-Codes.switch between graphics and G-Code easily.
